Sunshine Coast Hinterland Food and Wine tour
We were picked up from our Mooloolaba resort and headed off to the hinterland. We were given a run down of the itinerary and what to expect. We had a beautiful day – the weather was great. And the food -well it was first class. The cheese platter, wine flight, 2 course lunch topped off with a little box of chocolates. Tours are always the best when the random strangers you meet and eat with are friendly. We found it to be lots of fun and not forgetting kudos to our wonderful guide Jeff.
We were thoroughly happy with our recent tour, Scenic Food & Wine tour, Geoff was excellent and made it enjoyable.
Yesterday my husband and I went on a wine tasting Hinterland tour with Geoff our driver and a small group of people. From the time that Geoff arrived at our pickup point (on time) we had a very professional, friendly, fun and “foodie” day. Unfortunately, the rain in the Hinterland made for a few damp walks and scenic lookouts but the hills looked very atmospheric shrouded in clouds and mist.
Our cheese tasting in Maleny, wine tasting at the Barrel and beautiful lunch at Secrets at the Lake were all enjoyed and savoured.
The Belgian chocolates to take home were also a delight. Although our group differed in ages we all enjoyed each others company and the day. We would say it was a day well spent, thank you Geoff.
This was a fantastic tour that I would highly recommend. Jeff was a knowledgeable, professional and personable host and guide. We saw some real highlight sights and the food was lovely. I went as a solo passenger and had a wonderful time.
Couldn’t pick a favourite it was all wonderful, lovely travelling companions and an excellent guide and driver in Jeff.
